What is a digital legacy vault?
A private, encrypted place to organize the documents and account information your family would otherwise have to search for — your will’s location, insurance policies, property records, and the passwords that unlock everything else. Unlike a folder on your computer, it’s built to be found and understood by someone else when it matters.
How is this different from a password manager?
A password manager is built to get credentials into your hands, fast, every day. A legacy vault is built for the opposite case: getting the right information into someone else’s hands, once, at the moment you’ve chosen — with context (what this document is, why it matters) that a password manager was never designed to carry.
Who can see what I store?
Only you, until you decide otherwise. Nothing in your vault is shared automatically. You choose the trusted contacts who can access it, and you choose when — whether that’s a Legacy Handoff you generate yourself or a Care Continuity release that unlocks after conditions you set.
What happens to my vault if something happens to me?
You control the release. FinalKeepSake never claims to automatically detect a death or incapacity — that would be a promise it can’t honestly make. Instead, you (or a trusted contact you’ve authorized) generate the Legacy Handoff, or a Care Continuity release runs on the waiting period and confirmations you configured in advance.
