After that, membership keeps your living archive active at $17.99/month or $179/year. We tell you the exact date before any membership charge, and you can cancel anytime before then and never pay for membership.
What do I actually keep if I cancel?
Any PDF and ZIP files you have downloaded are yours to keep permanently. If your membership ends, your online vault enters a read-only grace period so nothing is lost, and you can always export your record. We never delete your data after a single missed payment.
Why is there an ongoing membership?
FinalKeepSake is a living family platform, not a one-time download. Your membership keeps your secure online vault, family tree, memories, memorial pages, reminders, family collaboration, and updated exports active and growing over time.
What is Guided Setup?
Guided Setup is an optional $59 service where we personally help you set up your Family Record, organize sections, upload your first files, invite trusted contacts, and generate your first PDF. It’s completely optional — most families set things up themselves.
Does this replace a will or legal document?
No. FinalKeepSake helps you organize and communicate your wishes and preserve your family history. It does not create, validate, or replace a will, estate plan, or any legal, medical, or financial document. Please consult a qualified professional for those.
Can I choose monthly or annual?
Yes. Membership is $17.99/month or $179/year. Annual saves $36.88 versus paying monthly for a year (about $14.92/month). You choose when you complete your record, and you can switch later.
