How is a family document vault different from shared cloud storage?
Shared cloud storage (like a shared Drive folder) is built for everyday collaboration — everyone with the link can usually see everything, all the time. A family document vault is built for the opposite: private by default, with specific, controlled access you grant only when it matters, to specific people, for a specific purpose.
Can more than one person contribute documents?
The vault itself is organized by the account owner, but Trusted Contacts and Care Continuity roles let you grant others view or edit access to exactly the sections you choose — never blanket access to everything by default.
What happens in an actual emergency?
You control the release: a Legacy Handoff you generate yourself, or a Care Continuity Plan release that unlocks after a waiting period and confirmations you configure in advance. Nothing is ever shared automatically without your setup.
